Established in 1967, the Flemington Falcons continue to provide the area’s best youth football and cheerleading opportunities to the children of Hunterdon County. The Falcons, part of the Pop Warner Little Scholars Organization, offer programs for children age 5 – 13 in which player development focuses on the field and in the classroom. Annually, the Falcons serves over 200 families residing primarily in the Hunterdon Central Regional High School sending district, comprised of families from Delaware Township, East Amwell Township, Flemington Boro, Raritan Township, Readington Township and Whitehouse. To celebrate the organization’s 50th Anniversary, the Falcons are organizing a number of events to highlight the Falcons in the community, including plans for an expanded Homecoming Weekend in October. We look forward to welcoming all former Falcon players, coaches and families to join us for a special on field ceremony during the Homecoming games!
For 2017, the Falcons have launched a new website to serve our families, including online registration. Visit www.flemingtonfalcons.org for more information on the Falcons and to register. Teams are forming now for the 2017 season!
In December 2016, the Flemington Falcons Cheer Program, led by Head Cheer Commissioner Renee Brandt, had three teams representing the Falcons at the Pop Warner Little Scholars Nationals Competition. We are very proud to announce our Junior Pee Wee Team was named National Champion with our Pee Wee and Varsity teams placing second and third respectfully in their divisions! The Nationals competition brings together Pop Warner Cheer teams from around the country and we are proud to continually place Falcons teams at the Nationals level! Falcons Cheer is a primary feeder program for cheerleaders to joining the cheer teams at the high school. Many former Falcons cheered on the National Champion Teams at Hunterdon Central this year!

For our 2017 Football Program, led by Head Football Commissioner Matt Call, the Falcons Board of Directors are pleased to announce a significant investment for the newest and most advanced football helmets for all Falcon athletes to wear for this season! The Falcons continually reinvest into the organization’s assets in keeping our football players in the best equipment available. Like Falcons Cheer, the Falcons Football Program also serves as a primary feeder program into Hunterdon Central. Again, many of today’s football players at the high school had their start within the Flemington Falcons! “We are excited as we build our football teams for the 2017 Falcons Season” reported Matt Call.
On Sunday, March 26, the Falcons kick off their 50th Anniversary Season hosting an exciting Football and Cheer Open House Recruitment Event at Hunterdon Central’s Field House from 2:00 – 4:00 PM. For this exciting Open House, we are partnering with Mr. Lonnie Allgood, of Dreams for Kids, Inc. Mr. Allgood, a former NFL Football Player for the Cincinnati Bengals and the Buffalo Bills, has a passion for mentoring and inspiring today’s youth through his non-profit organization. Lonnie’s message “to Educate, Motivate and Inspire” will be shared with the Falcons and our guests during the event! In addition, Lonnie is inviting other professional athletes to join the Open House, as we promote the Falcons, especially the commencement of the 50th year! The Falcon Board of Directors warmly welcomes the community to join us for this special event. Come out to meet the Falcons, meet Mr. Allgood and to receive information on the area’s premier youth football and cheer programs! This is a great opportunity for new athletes & families considering football or cheer to meet the Falcons.
